Vodafone has introduced a new mobile tariff plan for the people of karnataka.
With recharge of 41Rs you will get 20p/min call rates to all the local Vodafone numbers. in addition to this you can make local calls to other numbers at 40p/min with 150 local SMS free. STD calls per minute & SMS will be charged at 50p.

Note: This is a tower based plan, it works in Villages & Small towns(Udupi,Manipal etc..). It doesnt work in Cities like Banalore,Mysore,Mangalore,Hubli,Belgaum,Dharwad,Shimoga etc...
In order to make this plan work in major cities, you should get SMS from Vodafone end.
