Advantages & disadvantages of RBS Bank.

RBS is popularly known as Royal Bank of Scotland,ABN AMRO was acquired by RBS in India.

RBS Branches are very few in india but the service what they provide is very good.
 
RBS advantages:
1) On demand cash delivery to any where in major cities.
2) Easy sign up of Netbanking,you just have to opt for net banking while opening account & dont have to wait for username, password.
3)Easy to add payee,you can activate yourself.
4)Easy to add billers & pay them from RBS site
5)Bonus points for first time sign up(125 points) & 5 bonus for subsequent long in to net banking every month, points for transferring money, 2 reward points for every 100Rs spent, withdrawal of money, email statements etc..
6) Redeem 50Rs as cash back once you reach 500 points.
7) Very good customer support  (24X7)
8) All india Tollfree customer care number(1800112224), very rarely this toll free number appear busy.
9) Pickup service in major cities for ATM complaints.

Disadvantages of RBS:
1) Recently RBS disabled shopping through RBS debit card due to security reason. RBS card can't be used any where else outside of its website(If you have to pay bills through RBS card, go to RBS netbanking site,add billers & pay).RBS has offically told in its website that due to security reason they have disabled usage of card.You cant use card for Recharge,IRCTC transaction etc.. if you have money in RBS send to other accounts & try the same.
2) Lack of ATM's & branches(in Bangalore only one branch).
3) RBS issues Master card,you cant perform card to card to cash transfer. VISA card to card cash transfer can be done.
