Keep these things in mind before purchasing Smartphone.
1)Display:
Check the resolution & Colors(eg 16M,256K etc) of phone,higher the resolution better will be screen quality.Go for scratch proof glass like Gorilla glass etc.
Check the display type eg: TFT screen, AMOLED screen etc.. AMOLED will be better in clarity.
2)Processor:
Now a days most of the smart phones processor are starting from 500 MHz & its fair enough for better performance.
3)Operating system:
OS plays crucial role in smartphone,there are many OS Smartphones available in market like Android, Symbian, Windows phone 7,Blackberry,iOS,Bada etc.
Out of all Android OS is in top position now due to to its Fastness,simplicity, Developer friendly,vast options & its open source.Next comes iOS,Symbian,Blackberry,Windows phone7.
Blackberry is designed for business phones.Windows phone is still emerging in market.
Android phones are pretty expensive compare to Symbian & Java OS. but its cheaper then iPhone.
4)RAM:
Ram is useful for playing games, if you wish to play some hi-fi games like AngryBird,Racing games etc..then go for 500MB RAM phone but some phones comes with 256MB RAM you may feel slow in that.
5)Battery:
Look at the mAh(Eg, 1600mAh,1200mAh etc..) provided in the specification. Higher the mAh number better the backup. Also battery back up varies based on brands(Nokia,HTC,etc..).Nokia phones are top in giving the battery backup. Even HTC also fine.Android OS is not that intelligent to give better battery backup.
In Android phones HTC is one of the best brand which gives you battery backup.For normal usage HTC gives 2 to 3 days but Samsung,Motorola gives 1.5 to 2 days respectively.
6)Singe SIM/Dual SIM:
If you use to change the SIM frequently, then go for Dual SIM phones.Only Viewsonic & spice android phones support dual sim.
7)Sound quality:
Sound matters if you are music lovers,Sony Ericsson is the best brand for music,Sony walkman series phones are ment for music only.Nokia,HTC,Motorola,Samsung phones are also good in music clarity.
8)Support center:
This factors matters hardly but considerable.Check with shop keepers about service centers before purchasing cellphone. If the service center is not available & shop keeper denied to provide service,then you may have to go to near by city where service center resides.
9)Phone demo:
Go for demo before you buy. Its you who are going to use,so have trail before you invest.Some videos may bluff you.Demo's are available in large stores like Croma,Hypercity etc..
10)Mobile phone Reviews:
Read the reviews of the model across internet before you buy, seek for suggestion in forums.Reviews are very very important. You can seek the suggestion in the mobile shop but it cant be genuine always.
11)Price:
Last but not the least Price.There will be lot of fluctuation in Electronic goods be careful about price. If you are going to buy online. check in different websites (flipkart,ezone,infybeam,letsbuy,indiaplaza,univercell etc..) because there will be attractive offers with slight variation of price &
share the feedback about phone in blogs or websites, it will be very helpful to buyers.
